Attending the wedding with your family
While it would be great to party like the night is young until 5 am without your kid bearing witness, we know that getting a babysitter overnight might not be feasible – or you might prefer to bring them (Matteo will be there!). Attending a wedding with kids comes with its own set of challenges, but we want to make the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible for families joining us on our special day. RSVPing with Children
Yes, kids are invited! When you RSVP on our website, you will either see your child(ren)’s name listed or have the option to add them as guests. Please be sure to include each child attending from your household—this helps us plan for seating, dining, and the babysitting service.
Babysitting Service
We’ve arranged for a professional babysitting service to care for the kids so parents can relax and enjoy the party! You know us, and therefore you know that we want everyone to have the most fun possible, including your children! From the end of cocktail hour until just before midnight, the babysitters will organize activities for children of all ages (up to 16, if they want to join in).
Here’s what to expect:
- Before dinner: Outdoor activities (weather permitting) to keep them entertained.
- During dinner: The babysitters will sit with the children and supervise their meal. Kids may be seated at their own table unless you prefer they sit with you—just let us know! This is important as it will play a role in creating our seating chart, so please send us a note early.
- After dinner: The group will head to a dedicated kids’ room on the premises for board games, reading, and relaxing. There may even be a movie before bedtime!
For little ones who need to sleep, we can set up cots, cribs, or sleeping bags so parents can enjoy the evening worry-free. However, the babysitters do not change diapers or provide sleep equipment, so please bring anything your child may need—pajamas included!
If you prefer your child not to participate in the babysitting service, that’s totally fine—just let us know. But fair warning: they might feel like they’re missing out!
Car Seats for Taxi Services
If you’re arriving by train and need a car seat or booster seat for a taxi or shuttle service to or from the venue, let us know in advance. We may be able to provide one, depending on the size of your child. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests on a case-by-case basis!
