It all started with a happy accident... or rather, a Happn! Yes, it was thanks to an app that our paths crossed. Who would have thought that a simple swipe would change our lives?
Since that day, we've shared laughs, incredible adventures, and above all, a bond that has brought us to this point. Here are some key moments in our story:
January 24, 2020
Our First Date
That evening, it all started at Birdie's, a cozy bar between our apartments recommended by a friend of Merdy's (thanks, Fanny). A lively conversation, a knowing smile... and without having a clue, we had just written the first words of our soon to be love story.

An apartment and a turning point
The first few months confirmed the obvious: we were meant to love each other. After skirting the rules of lockdown for over a year, we decided it was time. That day, we got the keys to our first apartment together, and we made our commitment to each other official.
September 15, 2023
She said yes!
Merdy had planned everything down to the smallest detail... and what could be more symbolic than returning to Birdie's, the café where it all began? It was there, in this place steeped in memories, and in the presence of our beautiful baby boy and close friends, that he popped the question. A surreal moment, an obvious answer, and our story took yet another new and exciting turn.

5 Years Together
Five years together, and already so many moments shared. We've grown together, created many happy memories, lived through a few less than happy ones, and have always come through stronger than before. Today, intertwined, we can't wait to celebrate this milestone with you.
